Scroll and Fig Leaf

“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.  Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.  Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Matthew 24:32-35

The purpose of this site...

is to awaken the sleeping body of Christ to the reality of the closeness of the hour.  Jesus is coming back very soon, but before He does, there is much work to be done.  He is calling upon each one of His children to come into an understanding of their IDENTITY in Him and the DESTINY He has for each one, predestined before time began.

The Significance of the Fig Leaf

My 9 year old son was looking in the mirror when he saw a leaf stuck to his head.  He tried to get it off but it didn't budge as he scrubbed it.  Finally it came off and floated around and then disappeared.  (He was seeing in the spirit.)

He said that it was about the size of a baseball.  Later I showed him pictures of various leaves and he picked out the Fig Leaf.

I later asked: Lord, what does this mean?  I heard:
"The seasons are changing.  The vine is ripe and the time is now for the great harvest.  The fig tree loses its leaves and they fall to the ground."

"Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.  And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”

Revelation 5:1-2

Salvation and a changed life

In any situation where someone is facing life or death, it's important to deal with the first things first.

The rest of this site is about deepening our relationship and understanding of what Jesus wants to do in our lives, and what He is doing in the world today through the power of the Holy Spirit.  But for those who have not yet come to know Jesus as their personal Savior, the following section is just for you!  My disclaimer is this: I am not a theologian or Pastor.  I don't have some special knowledge that makes me an expert in life, other than any wisdom that has come from God.  I am a person just like you in need of salvation.

In the case of our eternal life, we have choices to make.

Either we believe that there is a God who created us - or that we somehow magically evolved out of nothingness, which is what the unproven theory of evolution and the Big Bang teaches.

Either we believe in what the Bible says or not.  10,000 of the 30,000 verses in the Bible are prophecy.  These verses speak of 2500 different prophecies, of which right around 2000 have come to pass EXACTLY as was predicted, without error.  There is no other book on the planet that could say that. The Bible is God's inherent Word.  He gave it to us to guide us and direct us in how to live in relationship with Him.

In my oversimplified synopsis of the Bible, the OLD testament teaches us about who God is, the instructions He gave each of us for living according to His purposes.  From the very first book, Genesis, we are taught about the "fall of man" because of Satan's temptation, and God's plan for redemption of His creation through His son.  The New Testament speaks of the life, death, and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth - and goes on to give us instructions for living according to His Father's purposes, until Jesus returns to live on earth with us for 1000 years.  It's a must read and has ALL the answers!

Either we believe that we are basically sinful beings and that there is nothing we can do to "earn" forgiveness and we need a Savior - or we believe that somehow through our own actions we can be "good enough" to get to heaven and have eternal life.

The TRUTH is this:  There is only one true God and He chose to create each of us because He wanted to have a relationship with us.  Satan is also real and He wants to keep each of us from knowing who we were really created to be.  By choosing to sin, we are separated from God.  We must acknowledge that we are sinful and fall short of the Glory of God and ask to be forgiven.  We must believe that there is nothing we can do to be saved on our own.  But God made a way for each of us to be redeemed in this life by coming to live on this earth as a man named Jesus who was born to a woman through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus lived a perfect life and chose to die on the cross to take on all of our sin.  After three days He rose from the grave having conquered death.  He then went back to Heaven but left the Holy Spirit to dwell with each of us.  One day soon, Jesus is coming back to earth to live with us here.  All those that believe in Him will have eternal life with Him.  Anyone who denies this TRUTH will spend eternity separated from Him in Hell with Satan.

If you want to receive the gift of Salvation, it is totally free.  The only requirement is that you choose to believe the TRUTH.  The first step is to speak out the TRUTH because our words have power.  The second step is to choose to give your life over to Jesus so that He can live in you and through you.  Invite the Holy Spirit to come to you to fill you up.  Ask Him to help you to see the sin in your life and to help you turn away from any sin.  This is called Repentance which means to turn away from sin and turn towards God.

It is repentance and forgiveness that leads to a CHANGED LIFE.  Click here to here my testimony of how Jesus has changed my life, and how the Holy Spirit has transformed a "normal" life into a life of SUPERNATURAL encounters with God.

The Significance of the Scroll

I was sound asleep and dreaming when it was like I was nudged awake by a friend’s voice saying "and this word is for you".
Along with her voice, I felt a second presence.

Then I heard the Holy Spirit say:

"The scroll is being opened."

I started to open my eyes and saw what looked like a trillion tiny scrolls dancing in front of me forming a picture of one scroll.  Eventually they dissolved as I fully woke up.

12:45am on May 27th, 2015

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Isaiah 34:4
